Upgrade
The Warren 56K modem upgrade is scheduled for this Thursday, we are
upgrading both the modems from 33.6 to 56k digital modems and the amount of
dialup lines avail. There may be a brief interruption of service at various
times during the day.

As you may have noticed, Interlnk has introduced a new Web
site! This new site is one of the many improvements we will be bringing to
our customers in the coming weeks. Look for the next newsletter which points
out some other improvements to Interlnk and your service. If you liked our

We added another T1 and 3 New Digital Dialup boxes in Monticello, Star
City's Service will be active the 15th of February. Warren's upgrade is set for
later this month.

We will be installing a new T1 for Sheridan/El Dorado today it may interrupt
service in the following towns
Warren, Dermott, Fordyce, Sheridan, El Dorado, Dumas, Hamburg, Mcgehee,
Monticello and Pine Bluff will not be affected.

Notice To Fordyce Users. Due to faulty equipment from
Alltel
half of our modem banks have been disabled
we hope to have this problem rectified as soon as possible
we appreciate your patience. Alltel is working as fast
as possible to get this situation straightened out.

Notice To Sheridan Users. New T1 lines are
being added to the sheridan calling area from
10:00am-12:00pm on 11-23-99. This will increase
the user capacity for the area. Interlnk strives to
provide the very best internet connection to our
customers. Thanks for your patience.

The Internet Gateway will be down from about 9-11 pm
for router replacement. We are preparing to add another T1
and required a bigger router. This router also will resolve some
Year 2000 issues with its updated software.

Notice To Monticello Users. The dialup lines for
Monticello will be down from 5:45am-6:15am on 9-29-99
for the Phone company to replace some equipment in Little Rock
which has caused the recent rash of disconnects and
and failed logins. There are currently lines down so users may
experience some busy signals. Please bear with us while the phone
co replaces there equipment. Thanks for your patience.

Notice To all Users. The Seark News server
is back online! We'd like to apologize to our Usenet
users for the down time. The upgrades will improve overall
performance and any furture downtime. If you have trouble
loading the newsgroups you'll need to remove the news host
news.seark.net and then re-add the host news.seark.net.

had a fiber optic line cut into around

Notice to Dumas Users:Dumas now has a local access number with 56K v.90 access.
Change your dialup settings to use the new access number. The phone number is

down between 3pm to 5pm for equipment
upgrade. Thank you for your patience

Due to an expanded email load over the last few
months (about 8x increase), we have replaced our
primary mail server with a much more powerful system.
We hope this will fix the intermittant mail access
problems we have getting reports on. However, You should
expect problems a few days as we are tuning the server.

Eldorado is being prepared for expanded user
capacity. Friday from 9am until 5:00pm Eldorado
will be down for some of these enhancements.

Interlnk News server news.seark.net has be reloaded,
all newsgroups will be reloading taking approx 1 day to
fill.

We are adding another 96 lines in the Pine Bluff Area,
so you may experence some busy signals. This should be in
effect tonight,
or by tommorrow afternoon.

Interlnk is adding another T1 to increase bandwidth.
The new line will help offset the loss of bandwidth that
will
occur when more people go to 56K modems and increase
bandwidth during heavy usage periods to mention some
advantages.
When this is complete you will notice better performance
all around,
however, you will see minor problems during the changeover
including
static ip changes, inability to access local servers for
short periods, and
resolve errors for 1-4 days. If you experience any serious
problems
AFTER this week, email support@seark.net and make us aware
of these.

All Modems serving the Pine Bluff area have been upgraded
from KFlex to v90(still KFlex compatible).
9-9-98
All Modems serving the ElDorado area have been upgraded to
56k (v90).
